[**Supabase**](https://supabase.com/) is an open-source backend-as-a-service (BaaS) platform designed to help developers build scalable applications faster. It provides essential backend features such as a PostgreSQL database, authentication, real-time subscriptions, storage, and APIs – all wrapped into a developer-friendly ecosystem. Set up **Supabase** on Vultr with ORIV quickly and easily. This guide walks you through the basic steps to configure and launch Supabase on a Vultr server, helping you streamline deployment and manage your application with minimal effort ## **How to Setup A Vultr Server in ORIV?** This guide shows how to set up a Vultr server in ORIV. Follow the steps to quickly launch, configure and start your cloud journey. ### **Step 1 : Create Your New Vultr Server in  ORIV** After logging in to your ORIV account, start by adding a new server by clicking on the **“Add New Server”** button from your dashboard. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? For this tutorial, we will create a Vultr server and for that select the Vultr option under **“Bring your own server service”.** The billing of the server will be handled on your Vultr account and in ORIV we won’t charge for this first server. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? Create a new account and verify your payment method with either a credit card (temporary $2.50 hold, refunded) or PayPal (minimum $5 payment linked to a card or bank). Once verified, \$100 in free credits will be applied automatically. Entre em contato com o nosso suporte em **[support@oriv.cloud](mailto:support@oriv.cloud)**. ### **Collect API key from Vultr** After you have successfully completed setting up your billing method, you will need to get the Vultr API key to add it to ORIV to create and manage 1 server and 10 sites for free. Navigate to the Account → API tab from your Vultr dashboard. After that click on the **‘Enable API’** button. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? Please make sure you have added Any **IPv4** and Any **IPv6** both under Access Control. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? Now, you need to go back to the ORIV dashboard and add your Vultr Label & API Key. ### **Add Team Members in Vultr** If you want your team members to use ORIV with Vultr, then make sure these permissions are given. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? Now, click on **‘Add New Server’** from the ORIV dashboard and you will be redirected to the server selection screen. After selecting **‘Vultr’**, set your **‘Key’**, **‘Vultr Label’**, and ‘**Vultr API Key’**. Then click on **‘Verify’**. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? Entre em contato com o nosso suporte em **[support@oriv.cloud](mailto:support@oriv.cloud)**. ### **Step 3: Create a Vultr Server in ORIV** Now that you have successfully verified your Vultr account, you will need to add other details to create a server in Vultr using ORIV. Choose your Region, Database Server, Server Size, and much more from one easy dashboard. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? After putting all the information, click on **‘Next’** and ORIV will automatically install and set up everything for you in a few minutes. ## **How to Install Supabase with ORIV (One Click Apps)** Follow the guide to install Supabase with ORIV with [**One Click Apps**](https://oriv.cloud/docs/deploy-n8n-with-oriv-with-one-click-apps/) with ORIV. Let’s get started. ### **Step 1: Create a Docker+ NGINX Server** First, you need to create a Docker server to deploy Supabase. Click the **‘New Server’** button on the dashboard and enter all the necessary credentials to connect your server. You can deploy Supabase on the Vultr server you previously created with ORIV. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? Next, choose your Vultr server to deploy Supabase with ORIV. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? Afterward, enter the **‘Server Name’**, set the **‘App Type’** to Supabase and add any relevant **‘Tags’** to help identify your server later. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? Next, choose the **‘Region’** and **‘Ubuntu Version’** for your server. You can also enable or disable the Backup option as needed. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? Next, you can see the **‘Docker + NGINX’** stack is already selected, which is mandatory for deploying the Supabase application.  Then click on the **‘Create’** button to proceed. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? After creating a server, it may take a while to become fully operational. Wait a few minutes before deploying your applications to ensure everything starts correctly. ## **How to Install Supabase on Vultr with ORIV** Learn how to install Supabase on a cloud server. It walks you through creating a server, configuring the environment and launching your Supabase application easily. ### **Step 1: Access the One Click Apps Dashboard** Begin by logging into your ORIV account. Once logged in, navigate to your dashboard and click on the **‘Add New Site’** button. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? You must select the **Vultr server** you set up in ORIV from this dropdown. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? Without completing Phase 2, Supabase will not be unlocked.* ### **Step 2: Set Up the Supabase Application** In the site setup screen, you will be prompted to enter basic site information. At this point, you can choose between two deployment modes: **‘Go Live’** for a production-ready deployment or **‘Demo Site’** for testing purposes. Selecting **‘Go Live’** will immediately create a live environment, while choosing **‘Demo Site’** allows you to experiment in a staging environment before promoting it to production. > \[!NOTE] > Precisa de ajuda visual para esta etapa? You will get a **‘Site User’** of your application. You can also adjust it according to your preferences or leave it as the default.
